The Deer Tracks "The Smallest Cube"

The Deer Tracks are David Lehnberg and Elin Lindfors of G ävle, Sweden. The duo released their debut Aurora in 2008 before embarking on The Archer Trilogy of which Pt. 1 was released as an EP in March (via The Control Group). The anticipated Pt. 2 will drop sometime this summer with Pt. 3 to follow. The Deer Tracks seem to combine the space and dynamic sensibilities of Sigur Ros with the experimental electronica of The Books to create a beautiful sound of their own. Some might call it folk-tronica or perhaps toytronica but maybe instead of trying to fit them into some convenient  box we could call it something a little more autonomous like, I don't know, twinkly!
